Kelly O’Donnell, MD

Our highly trained staff is led by Kelly O’Donnell, M.D., a board certified vein specialist with an extensive medical background whose focus is on providing pain-free solutions and ensuring the comfort of her patients.
Dr. Kelly O’Donnell earned her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and pursued extended molecular genetics research at the University of California, Los Angeles and University of California, Berkeley before returning to Maryland to attain her medical degree. Dr. O’Donnell graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1990, completed her internship in general surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, and her residency training was in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her career for the next decade was in cardiovascular and critical care anesthesia at Prince George’s Hospital Center and Washington Hospital Center.
In 2008, Dr. O’Donnell shifted her focus to practicing as a full-time vein care specialist. In 2009, she received her Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification followed by her Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification and then completed her board certification in phlebology from the American Board of Phlebology. Less than 1% of physicians in the U.S. practicing phlebology have earned this distinction. She has performed over 1500 venous ablation procedures for venous insufficiency and has specific interest in the treatment of spider veins with laser treatment and sclerotherapy.
Kylie is a graduate of Von Lee International School of Aesthetics, the nation’s first school devoted exclusively to esthetics and make-up artistry, where she studied under school founder and industry legend, Carole Walderman. An NCBTMB certified massage therapist, Kylie blends a holistic approach to wellness and with a lifelong passion for skin care she enjoys helping her clients feel great about themselves and their skin. She believes putting together a skin care plan for each client puts them one step closer to achieving beautiful, healthy skin. When she isn’t working hard to make your skin beautiful, you can find Kylie chasing her nieces and nephew, sweating it out at Bikram or cuddled up with a good book.
Molly received her undergraduate from Shepherd College with degrees in Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports Sciences. She then attended the Physician Assistant program at Anne Arundel Community College, as well as, completed a combined program with Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania to obtain her Master’s in Medical Science. In 2004, Molly was board certified by the NCCPA and re-certified in 2011. She initially worked in plastic and reconstructive surgery before moving onto Neurosurgery. After working many years in surgical and clinical practices, she finally joined O’Donnell Vein & Medical Spa in 2012. She is a true believer that, “your legs should feel good!” and is excited to bring her energy to our practice and patients. When not working, Molly enjoys cooking and staying active with her husband and two children.
Sarah has worked in the medical field for over fifteen years. She attended Anne Arundel Community College where she realized her passion was helping others feel their very best. After beating cancer, Sarah began working for O’Donnell Vein and Medical Spa in hopes to help others seek proper treatment and build their confidence. Sarah believes in OVMS based on its high success rate in reduction of symptoms and staff that brings positive energy to the atmosphere. On her days off, Sarah spends time enjoying life with her husband and two children.
Michael is a 2011 graduate of UMBC in Vascular Ultrasound. He holds a B.S degree in French from Loyola University of Chicago and has a passion for foreign languages. He is also employed at Maryland General Hospital as a vascular ultrasound technician. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Mike is happy to be living on the East Coast again and is enjoying all that Maryland/DC has to offer.
